A youth exchange, or group exchange, involves groups of young people from at least two countries that come together to implement a programme they have been involved in formulating. The young people become acquainted, cooperate, and are involved in different activities to learn more about each other’s countries, culture, and interests, along with one or more topics of the project. This project type is for young people aged 14 to 30.
The Narvik War and Peace Centre organises such projects every year, with different partners. We find this to be an unrivalled learning opportunity for young people, and we would like to hear more from curious young people who would like to work with us and our community’s young people for such projects.
